Under the direction of Nils Zimmermann, Hamburg-based ‘ideas and design bureau,’ Studio Chapeaux, has applied its unique vision to brands and products in the food and lifestyle sectors, with work ranging from the captivating gold-foiled packaging of London chocolatier Le Jeune, to the vibrant identity design for Versol Vermouth.

In our conversation, Zimmermann explains the thought process behind their website update and how it reflects the expressive and evocative work the bureau produces. Further, he reveals how they ensure the brands they work with continue to resonate with and influence audiences through their ‘Resonance Branding’ approach.
