A kaleidoscope of joy

Every Woman’s Marathon, a US marathon designed by and for women, marks a new chapter in Milk Processor Education Program MilkPEP’s commitment to supporting women. The event is inclusive, beginner-friendly, and attuned to the unique needs of women at every stage of their marathon journey. It’s not just about crossing the finish line; it’s about celebrating female strength and empowering every woman’s journey through the transformative power of community. To design an identity that encapsulates this spirit, MilkPEP collaborated with California-based Yung Studio and international business agency, GALE. The result is an energising multicolour identity that mirrors the celebratory philosophy of the event.

A forgotten typeface

In Kanon Foundry’s practice, engaging with and learning from design history is an integral part of their creative process. “I’ve always been fascinated by the historical aspects of design, and the events that have shaped the design and expressions we have today,” Co-founder & Type Designer Tor Weibull tells us. “It is a great way to understand our heritage and also becomes a good source of inspiration.” One day, when sifting through Switzerland’s design history, Weibull stumbled upon the story of Züka – Zürich Canton Trade and Agriculture Exhibition. The event, which seamlessly brought together contemporary ideas of art, design and innovations from the agricultural scene, came to life on the edges of Lake Zürich in the late summer of 1947.

Studio Vedèt pulls back the curtains

A few things led Valentina Ciuffi to founding her Milan-based design practice, Studio Vedèt. At first, there was her background as a design journalist, which drew her to the world of architecture and interior design – disciplines that left a deep impression on her career. Journalism, and an interest in semiotics, gently guided her to graphic design. Since then, through Studio Vedèt – which she set up in 2016 – Ciuffi has engaged with a range of clients and companies, widening her creative horizons all while slowly growing her small team.
