An impactful brand world
With over 30,000 influencers in their roster, Influur is an all-in-one marketplace that facilitates connections between brands and the most exciting creators of the moment. Described as the “LinkedIn for influencers,” their unconventional approach allows creators to find collaborators and work, and be paid with security and transparency.
The Miami-based platform, renowned for connecting creators in music, dance, and lifestyle with brands, sought a visual identity that could match its rapid growth and innovative approach to influencer marketing. Studio Herrström collaborated with the company to craft a comprehensive brand strategy, encompassing both visual and verbal elements. The resulting visual system not only honours Influur’s origins but also propels the brand into a new era of digital collaboration.
A trove of fantastical furniture
Within the sea of generative AI content, there are some gems out there, created by those with the AI know-how to bring out the most interesting, surreal and unexpected results from a prompt. Artificial Objects is one such outcome. A research and design project created and curated by New York City’s JOAN Design – a branch of JOAN Creative – it provides answers to the questions, ‘How could we use AI in industrial, fashion, and architectural design? And how can generative artificial intelligence supercharge the creative process?’
It takes confidence to say a lot with a little
Volumen’s modest, considered identity proves that the ‘less is more’ adage rings with an everlasting truth. The furniture maker from Bosnia and Herzegovina creates sculptural and tactile pieces rooted in modernist tradition; each piece of furniture is beautiful, but moreover, it’s modular and functional. The brand’s entire range of offerings is devoid of ornamentation, and so is its identity, crafted by Belgrade-based branding agency, Metaklinika.

YEYE Design Studio
Getting a design studio off the ground is rarely a linear journey, and there’s no better example than the one of YEYE Design Studio. Founded in 2020 by married couple Matthew Roop and Dylan Chan, their location in Singapore came as a result of love amidst the pandemic, despite the former’s role at esteemed design studio &Walsh in NYC. He continued there remotely for another year in what he describes as his “masters in design,” followed by three years at crypto start-up ZEBEDEE before going all in on YEYE with Chan at the beginning of 2024. All the while, she had been busy growing the studio from the ground up, learning the frantic agency world on the go alongside a couple of freelance gigs. With Roop’s design experience and Chan an “admin genius,” the pair make for a formidable duo that now utilises an ideas-first approach for a global client list. Their story is proof that it’s rarely as straightforward as you’d like to be, but with perseverance, experience and a whole lot of love, you can succeed.
Diorama
Co-founded by long-term friends Jakub Otcenas and Peter Galko, Diorama is a collective of creative professionals based in Bratislava, Slovakia. Their work spans both digital and tangible realms – from social media campaigns and websites for anti-disinformation efforts and SaaS startups to a cohesive icon-based brand system inspired by the natural beauty of Malá Fatra National Park. As Design Director Otcenas shares in this interview, the studio has learned many lessons through various changes, including shifts in team size and the integration of AI into its creative process. In this piece, we explore Diorama’s evolution, its unique position in Bratislava’s design scene, and its perspective on 2024.
