Past and future

Cartesia’s work is seeped in research. The company was founded by a team of PhDs from Stanford’s AI Lab, where they pioneered State Space Models (SSMs) – a new approach for training large-scale foundation models. After having published world-class papers that have steered advancements in the AI field, Cartesia is now bringing its research to life with practical tools for today’s world. As the company shifted into this chapter of tool-building, it began looking for an identity that would tell its story, and tapped into the creative brainpower of ODA, led by Barcelona-based designer Ennio Dybeli.

At the edge of two countries

Haskell Cinema’s tagline, ‘The only cinema in the USA without a screen,’ is actually a cheeky joke. The fact is that inside the cinema, which sits at the edge between the USA and Canada, the projector lies on the American side, with the screen on the Canadian end. “The Haskell Library and Opera House was built in 1904, straddling the border between Canada and the United States, sitting between the Canadian town of Stanstead and the American town of Derby Line. It was commissioned by Canadian Martha Stewart Haskell as a tribute to her late husband, American Carlos Haskell,” says Elisa Pinton, Project Manager at Harrison Fun, the design studio that crafted the cinema’s identity.

Where two points meet

Native, a global brokerage, specialises in insurance for digital assets, addressing the significant gap in crypto insurance coverage (currently at 1%). Their brand identity, created by Justified Studio, avoids typical insurance and crypto visuals, instead emphasizing innovation and their unique position at the intersection of traditional insurance and cryptocurrency.

Serene skies and abstracted architecture

Techtalia is an Italian conference exploring the intersection of culture, business, and technology. The 2024 Florence event's visual identity, designed by data visualization studio Algo, drew inspiration from nearby landmarks like the Duomo and the Baptistery of Saint John.
