Breaking the think tank mould

Kaave Pour founded 21st Europe to redefine the perception of what Europe can achieve – a vision for a better future. The Copenhagen-based creative entrepreneur, recognised for co-founding the innovation lab and research hub Space10, commissioned the Copenhagen-based brand agency PONDER to develop this bold new European design think tank from the ground up, moving beyond traditional approaches to create something that would inspire optimism, foster conversation and connect with a broader audience. The brief, explains Managing Partner Carl Kronika, was to co-create the project – everything from concept and identity to website, copy, film and PR. “Our task was to give the vision language, colour and emotion.”

Elevating the humble act of cleaning

Formerly known as Fohm, bathroom product specialists Saintly approached Universal Favourite to help revitalise their image. They aimed to rise above the typical functional clichés of “a better way to wipe” and instead emphasise the strength and assurance that cleanliness provides. Offering a single item – the Divine Dispenser, this touchless cleansing foam dispenser serves as an improved alternative to traditional flushable wipes and is designed to be safe for both your plumbing and the environment. After all, we know the age-old saying ‘cleanliness is next to godliness.’ Taking this sentiment literally, the Australian design studio created a Renaissance-inspired visual world that positions Saintly’s cleansing foam dispenser as nothing short of a religious experience.

Building the Motherverse

Two design studios walk into a meeting… and while there’s no punchline here, there is a very punchy project, thanks to Mother and Alright Studio’s collaboration, culminating in a digital makeover that unites Mother’s global presence. Reflecting on the two-year journey, both sides – Garrett DeRossett, Tucker Schoos and Teah Brands from Alright Studio and Mother Design’s Mark Sloan – share insights on how they built an operating system that’s equal parts functional and delightfully weird. Here’s how the creative partnership came to life, from its initial spark to the final digital experience that reimagines the Motherverse.
