Case studies

Not a solo, but a duet

At first glance, it is the typography in Studio Marie’s identity that stands out. With sinuous curves, distinctive details and strong letterforms, the type brings the flavour and the craft to the branding. When design studio JesseJessi began working on the identity, the creative process was steered by the conversations the team had with Jamie Perez, founder of the interior design practice Studio Marie.

Fresh off the grill

Most type designers will be familiar with ‘hamburgerfonts,’ a quirky little term that showcases the unique features of a typeface. As Contrast Foundry’s Founder & Creative Director Maria Doreuli explains, “Similar to how ‘The quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog’ contains every letter in the alphabet, Hamburgefonstiv is a made-up word often used to demonstrate the key characteristics of the letters in the Latin alphabet. But as type designers, we often type it as Hamburgerfonts – because that’s exactly what it reminds you of :)”

Game on

If you’ve gone to even a single football game, you’ve most probably noticed a very familiar scene – a fan holding a scarf aloft in joy in the electrifying moments after a goal, or perhaps draping it over their shoulders like armour before kickoff. The scarf, a universal symbol of football fandom, became the central motif in BOND’s rebrand for the Finnish football league, Veikkausliiga. “The scarf represents passion, unity, and pride – core emotions tied to Veikkausliiga and its fans,” Creative Director Nils Kajander tells us. “It brings people together, both physically and symbolically. Whether worn around the neck or raised in the air, it’s deeply connected to football culture. Since the original logo also featured a fan holding a scarf, it felt natural to continue from there.”

Typeface

Chosmos

If you’re on the hunt for a typeface that combines weight with dynamism and energy with boldness, Chosmos might just be what you’re looking for. Described by Typozon as a typeface “born from chaos yet shaped with intent,” it balances loudness and impact with meticulous crafting. Above all else, it commands attention, making it the perfect fit for headlines, branding, packaging, and anything that needs to be eye-catching.

Meet Endless Tools

An online 3D design tool that skips the setup and gets straight to the good part.

Most great design ideas don’t start with a blank canvas, they start with momentum. But for many creatives, traditional design tools stall that momentum before it begins, bogging down inspiration with complexity.

Endless Tools allows you to quickly and cost-effectively produces high-quality visual content – making 3D design faster, more intuitive and accessible to a broader range of designers.

AI video generation

Turn any image into video with Visual Electric.

The new feature allows you to transform any image – whether uploaded or generated within the platform – into dynamic video content.

Co-founder Colin Dunn sees video generation as just the beginning of how designers will incorporate motion into their workflows. “We believe the best creative tools give you powers you’ve never had before. Many designers aren’t used to working with video or animation, so we’re excited to open up a new creative medium – and a new way of thinking and working.”
